For Term 3 our Language of the Term will be British Sign Language.
In our school we have been using and promoting British Sign Language as a means of helping all our children communicate.
Signing is popular with babies and it also helps children with language difficulties, not just deaf people.
Each week, the children will be encouraged to learn and use different signs.
An after school club, run by Mrs Gale, will be starting in Term 3 for any child in Year 3 that is interested in learning more about using sign language.
Take a look at these two websites for more information and learn how to sign.
