This term we are supporting the deaf health charity, SignHealth. On Friday the 9th of February will be joining Sign2Sing 2018 (http://sign2sing.org.uk). People across the country will be participating to raise money for the charity by performing this song. On this day there will be non-uniform for the pupils and they will being in a pound which will go to this wonderful charity. Watch the video that we have prepared and please donate generously.

This term we are focusing on rhythm. Our year 3 are building up different rhythms on percussion instruments.

Why is music important in the curriculum?

Last year the pupils in year 3 learnt to play the Ocarina, now they have progressed to the recorder. All the skills they developed last year, have really helped them and they have already been able to play simple pieces, using the notes B, A and G. Well done year 3!
