Building on the Legacy of the London 2012 Olympics

At Holy Trinity & St Johns CEP school, the aim is to inspire all of our pupils to achieve their personal best in P.E and sport.  We have continued the legacy of the 2012 Olympics by providing opportunities for all of our pupils to increase their levels of physical activity every day, participate in healthy competition on a regular basis and broadening aspirations for all our pupils.  We have used our Primary sports premium fund to vastly improve outdoor facilities for our children - which includes our brand new outdoor fitness area! 100% of our children participate in intra school (level 1) 'house' competitions all year round and we have growing numbers of pupils that represent the school in inter school (level 2) competitive sport (we are members of the successful Thanet Passport programme).  The close links we have with local sports clubs and providers such as Margate FC, Kent Cricket and Canterbury Christchurch Univerisity provide our pupils with opportunities to take their sport to the next level and inspire them to achieve their best and to 'fly higher'!  Please use the links below to check up on what your child has been up to in their P.E and sport this year!
