    Important information:

    PE Days

    Our PE days are Thursdays and children must come to school dressed in PE kit which includes school jumpers and cardigans.

    Woodland School

    We go to Woodland School on Wednesday mornings and children may bring welly boots to wear. Please note that this is a different day from what was orginally published. 

    Reading

    Please listen to your child read every day and then sign the reading record so that they can earn housepoints each time they read. 

    Water bottles

    Children should bring their own water bottles to school which should have their name clearly labelled on it. It must only be water in the water bottles. 

    Home Learning

    Each week your child will come home with some learning to complete at home. There will be some phonics which will match the learning we will have completed in class and some which will include maths and project. The home learning will be set on a Friday and expected in on Wednesdays. Please support your child in the activities.

    Hedgehog Class - Family Learn We carried out a sensory hunt in our classroom and around our outdoor area.

    Growth Mindset - During our first day back after half - term, we took part in lots of activities based on Growth Mindset. We discussed how different people percieve the same image. How our perspective can influence whether we have a Fixed or Growth Mindset.

    On Friday 22nd November we had a DT (Design and Technology) day. We looked at the different components e.g wheels, axles and axles holders. We also talked about how vehicles move. After that we did some problem solving and designed and made our own vehicles.

    Hedgehog class visit to The Powell Cotton Museum at Quex Park

    We had a wonderful time sharing books at our Family Read.
