After School Club : Art and Design
After School Club: During our after school club with Ms McLean and Mrs Bullard we worked using recycled materials to create our own sea themed costumes, this was to help raise awareness of the importance of reducing , reusing and recycling our waste. We know that so much of our rubbish ends up in the sea, destroying natural habitats, polluting the sea, and poisoning the sea creatures. Once our costumes were complete we arranged to take part in The Mergate Parade in Margate, we met on Saturday 3rd June 2023 at the Turner. Mr Garratt came to support us. We joined a huge Parade with lots of other schools. Some of us stayed on to take part in the workshops and extra activities.It was lots of fun and it was lovely seeing so many people showing their support.
