School Pupil Bank

Our school bank begain in June 2011 and is a service for pupils in years 3-6.

The School Bank is run (with supervision) by our pupils. Pupils will gain first-hand experience of   managing money. It provides the foundation for the continued experience of having a bank account   and managing their own finances.

Pupils open a real NatWest bank account suitable for their age, and are then able to bring money   into school to pay into their account. The maximum amount of cash pupils can pay into the School   Bank on any one day is £20.00; there is no limit for cheques.  To withdraw money they will need to   visit a local branch.

The School Bank is open every Thursday between 8.45and 9.30am.

Any cash being brought in for depositing needs to be in a secure envelope or purse.

Children should go straight to the bank as soon as they arrive at school
