Welcome to Year 4. We are looking forward to all of the exciting learning we have planned for your children. Please see the yearly overview below for details of the topics and other subject coverage for this year. We aim to promote the HTSJ way of being 'Ready', 'Respectful' and 'Safe' in all we do, to create a harmonious environment for children to thrive in.

Reminders:

• Please read with your children as much as possible. Children should bring their reading books and records to school every day. We have many rewards for reading at home that children are working towards. This includes individual as well as class rewards, as we feel regular reading is hugely important for children's progress.
• Water bottles should be in school everyday and these can be refilled in class during the day.
• Please name all your child's school uniform. Children not wearing the correct uniform will be sent home with a letter and parents spoken to if it persists. Please ask the office if you need support with this.(See the uniform list on this website for correct uniform)
• PE is on a Monday for Kingfisher Class in Term 1 only and and in Term 2 PE will be on a Thursday for both Year 4 Classes.
• Swimming is on Tuesdays Term1 for Nightingale Class and Term 3 for Kingfisher Class.
• MyOn - online reading, Numbots- Maths and TTRS - timetables can be used at home. Children should have been given logins but please ask for details if you need them.
