Welcome to Year 5. We are looking forward to all of the exciting learning we have planned for your children. We will be learning about The Tudors, The Greeks and The Mayans. We promote independence, resilience and confidence within our lessons, to prepare your children for life after HTSJ.

REMINDERS

Water bottles to be in school every day– named.  These can be refilled by class staff through the day.

Full school uniform to be worn daily, all named and labelled.  See the school website for the uniform list.

PE day is a Friday—full PE kit to be worn.

Reading records to be handed in daily, we expect you to be reading 4+ times a week. TTRS and MyOn can be completed at home, ask your teachers for you logins if you are not sure.

We will be learning all about multiplication and division, The Tudors, mixtures, portraits and stuffed toys. We are looking forward to researching all about Henry VIII and his wives, and what type of character he was. We will be using our times tables facts to support our learning about multiplication and division. Use TTRS to support with this learning for Term 2.
